Auckland Construction Ltd was established in 1969, immediately concentrating on construction for the education sector. Shortly after its establishment, Welcome Construction Group Ltd was amalgamated into Auckland Construction bringing with it a team of long serving and experienced staff and a number of overseas contracts.
Auckland construction is Auckland based with offices in both West Auckland and Manukau City, serviced by a team of highly qualified and skilled staff. All of our Project Managers have a "Trade Certificate in Carpentry" qualification and have been successfully involved in project management for a minimum of 10 years. They are supported by a number of site foremen and on site labour.
Over time we have also built an extensive network of suppliers and sub-contractors whose qualities and workmanship match our own in the desire to deliver to only the highest standards.
Auckland Construction maintains a very healthy and stable financial position, and has an excellent record in all monetary aspects of the business. We also hold public liability insurance to the value of $10,000,000 and full vehicle insurance (please see attached confirmations at the back of this document).

Quality control will be the responsibility of the on-site manager. The vast experience that all of our site managers have means they possess an acute understanding of the high level of quality demanded by higher management and external clients alike.
Throughout the contract they would be constantly checking on all workmanship to ensure these standards are met if not exceeded and correct specifications are being followed. We also suggest regular on site meetings with the project manager, architect, and any other key parties to ensure that which is expected is being delivered. All works would be thoroughly inspected before a final handover meeting to highlight and attend any remedial work. Based on previous projects this work is likely to be very little.
Final inspections, as builds, and producer statements and guarantees from the sub trades are all standard, and can be completed and readily available before final completion to ensure efficient handover.
Our time and experience in the building industry and undertaking school projects has allowed us to single out and develop only those carpenters and sub contractors that work to our own very high standard of quality and workmanship. It is for this reason we have full confidence in their delivery on site.
Auckland Construction takes a great deal of pride in its health and safety record, and are constantly reviewing our procedures in order to make our sites as safe and pleasant as possible to work in. We have a Health & Safety Policy in effect, and the standard folder of procedures can be forwarded for your perusal if required. Our company is also a member of site safe and all our staff hold current site safe passports.
